जितेन्द्र थापा  काठमाडौँ  । च्यातिएको त्रिपाल, मलिन अनुहार । टाउकोमा रुमाल । सेतै कपाल र गालामा खुम्चिँदै गरेका धर्काले बुढेसकालले छोएको प्रष्ट देखिन्थ्यो  । त्यही त्रिपालमुनी टोलाएर बसेकी थिइन् थिइन् दुनी अर्थात दुनी शाही । उमेरले ५५ वर्ष पुगेकी उनी हुन् दक्षिण एसियाको एक मात्र घुमन्ते फिरन्ते जाती राउटे समुदायकी एकल अनि एक्ली महिला हुन्   । शाहीले कर्णाली प्रदेश आसपासका जंगलमा डुल्दै फिर्दै फिरन्ते जीवन बिताउँदै आएको ५५ वर्ष भयो । समुदायमा उनलाई सबैले १४ सन्तानकी एक्लि आमा भनेर चिन्छन्  । १४ सन्तानकी एक्लि आमा सुन्दा अनौठो लाग्ला तर, यो यतार्थ हो । १४ सन्तान जन्माएकी उनको साथमा सन्तान छैनन् । सन्तानको मृत्युसँगै उनको साथमा अहिले नत श्रीमान छन् नत छोरा या छोरी नै छन् । सबैले उनको साथ छोडेर उनलाई एक्लो पारेर गएको झझल्को आइरहने उनी बताउँछन्  । सबैले साथ छोडेर गए’,आँखाको डिलमुनी आएको आशुलाई छेउकुना लगाउँदै भनिन्, ‘१४ सन्तान जन्मिए । कोही जन्मिदै मरे कोही हुर्किदै संसार छोडे त कोही सन्तान तन्नेरी अवस्थामै संसार छोडे अहिले एक्ली छु ।’ सन्तानसँगै राउटे समुद...

The Raute community, which has been living a nomadic life around Karnali and Sudur Paschim Province, has recently started to continue its occupation.
