Sosec Nepal in its 26th year of establishment,

Reaching from door to door understanding the needs of the community

Jitendra Thapa.  Surkhet. A disabled person is someone who cannot do anything even with their hands and feet. Even though they are crippled, they go around drinking alcohol and fighting in the society. They beat their wives at home, she is disabled, I am not disabled. Even though I am disabled, I am busy with my work. I have four meetings in my business day. Santosh Singh Khadka of Gurans Rural Municipality 1 Simesal said this. He said this at the 26th annual festival and general assembly program of Sosek Nepal. He is physically disabled. At the age of 23, one of his arms and legs cannot move. The whole body does not move. Even when walking around, you should walk with the help of others.

Santosh, who was born physically disabled, was planning to commit suicide after not getting any help from anywhere. However, a new gift in his life became a new life, Sosek Nepal and Hirasingh Thapa. After Nagendra Rizal, a teacher working at a school in the same place, informed SoSec Nepal about Santosh's problem, SoSec Nepal immediately organized a school-at-home and arranged for a teacher to teach him at home. According to him, Thapa said that now after receiving training from the Green Job project, he has experienced many things.

Earlier, Khadka was in a critical condition. I was unable to move my body. Couldn't speak well. Nagendra Rijal said as a teacher in Barahasthan Primary School in 2074. After getting information about his condition, I informed Sosek Nepal,'' he said, 'First it was a very miserable situation, then after informing Sosek Nepal, Sosek Nepal arranged for school at home. His formal education started from the fifth grade from Barahsthan Pravi.

Khadko says that his days have become easier after receiving training from Nepal Climate Change Initiative Pilot (Green Job) Project I. Khadka says that while encouraging parents at home, they also encouraged their parents in commercial vegetable farming. Earlier, our father-in-law used to farm with old technology, but he did not have the income as expected,'' he said, 'now we are doing business using new technology and pesticide-free organic fertilizers, and the production has increased. Don't tell others that you can't do it. God resides in our speech.

Physically disabled but mentally sharp, Khadka now conducts online training. Although he is physically disabled, Sosek says that after receiving the support of Nepal, besides teaching, Khadka is also working as a member of Vestage Online Business. He says that he used to be a trainer from his mobile phone while staying at home and also encouraging other members to train. Seeing such a critical condition of Khadka, the youngest child of the family, no one believed that Bhashyima would be able to hold online meetings like this, but now Khadka has held four online meetings. According to Khadka, he is not only an online trainer but also operates a Kutani Pisani mill.

Khadka had already lost his life because he was physically disabled. However, after Sosek Nepal and Heerasingh Thapa and Nagendra Rijal became a new life, Khadka's life got a new shape, according to Khadka. "I was on the verge of committing suicide," he says, "but, in that situation, after Hirasingh Thapa and Nagendra Rizal became my God, I got a new life. Heerasingh sir and Nagendra sir came as gods. Then he arranged for me to study at home. After that, I started formal education from the fifth grade.

Similarly, Asmita Khadka of Gurans Rural Municipality 8 was 15 years old. He is a ninth grade student in Malika Secondary School. First people are scared. He who was afraid to speak in front of many people has now become a clear speaker. He has the ability to speak confidently in large masses. He says that after Sosek Nepal conducted the program in Gurans Rural Municipality, his life got a new shape.

These are just some of the characters that have been changed by Sosek Nepal's program. Other activities like the above-mentioned activities have said that Sosek Nepal has become a friend of the citizens of Dailekh and other districts. According to the local citizens, Sosek Nepal's governance, transparency and accountability have really won everyone's hearts.

Heerasingh Thapa, executive director of Sosek Nepal, said that it is important that we do good work with few rather than many like Santosh and Asmita. Regarding the questions we raised, the state is working by making a policy on the things we have done," he said. "We have raised many issues such as menstruation, child marriage, etc. Now we are confident that the state is working by making a policy."

Purna Bahadur Khatri, member of the Karnali Provincial Assembly, said that Sosek Nepal has spread to various places including Karnali after understanding the problems of the people and the settlements. He also said that it has made an important contribution in solving the problems faced by the people. Today, the society is looking for a way to change," he said. "Our daughters-in-law cannot go inside the house if it is not seven days during the period of menstruation. When we reach the villages and settlements, we are happy to see the change in the place where the organization operates and is implemented.

Sosec plan to increase the Raithane crop

Executive Director Thapa said that Sosec Nepal is planning to distribute Raithane crop from this financial year for the distribution of Raithane crop which is in an endangered state. Now we are all hybrids, he said, even when we go to the medicine shop, the normal dose is not enough. Our health is becoming so weak.

Now Sosec Nepal aims to expand its services to five to seven districts in the near future. We are happy when we speak the voices of the voiceless, he said, "Where are we and our society headed?" This is our humanity. Even then, the birth of a son will be fun. If the delivery takes up to 11 days, where will the delivery go? We should remove such difficult things.

Speaking at the 26th annual festival and general meeting of Sosek Nepal, Mayor of Narayan Municipality Loman Sharma said. The place does not reach, the poet reaches there, as the experience says, the poet reaches where the poet does not reach, Sosek Nepal, he said, "Sosek has reached everywhere and expanded the service to the poor, helpless and helpless places."

Earlier, the child was in a state of moving to the left, but now that child has grown up not only to walk but also to run, said Sharma.

There was a time when Nepal was unable to pay the rent because we were in the working committee, we collected money and paid the house rent. However, the former vice-president and life member of Sosec Nepal, Madhav Prasad Timilsena, said that Sosec has managed to come up with a budget of Rs.

Maharup Khatri, Chairman of Non-Governmental Organization Federation of Dailekh, expressed his congratulations that despite various challenges, Sosek Nepal has succeeded in solving their problems by understanding the problems of rural communities in various places including Dailekh. Khatri said that there is a tendency to file various cases and objections against non-governmental organizations, even in this situation Sasek Nepal has excelled. He said that although there are 4500 non-governmental organizations in the district administration office, only 4-5 organizations in the district are running with the help of donations. He also requested to end the cumbersome process of reclassification of non-governmental organizations.
